Basketball Recap: Dunseith Comes Up Short

Dunseith lost against Valley City back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. The Dunseith Dragons took a 67-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valley City Hi-Liners.

Dunseith dropped their record down to 3-3 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Valley City, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Dunseith will look to defend their home court on Friday against Standing Rock at 3:00 p.m. Dunseith is facing Standing Rock at the right time seeing as Standing Rock is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Valley City, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Stanley at 6:00 p.m. on January 17, 2025.
