Basketball Game Preview: Mountain House Mustangs vs. Central Catholic Raiders

The Mountain House Mustangs will challenge the Central Catholic Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Mountain House is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Patterson to the tune of 87-47 on Wednesday. With the Mustangs ahead 56-20 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Central Catholic entered their tilt with East Union on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Lancers 54-29.

Mountain House is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38.7 points. As for Central Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.

Mountain House took a serious blow against Central Catholic when the teams last played back in February of 2017, falling 81-44. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Mountain House was down 42-22.
