Northwestern has gone 7-1 against Chippewa recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Huskies are taking a road trip to challenge the Chipps at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Northwestern and six for Chippewa.

Northwestern lost 18-4 to Norwayne on Monday.

Gabby Cuber was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Cherry, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Meanwhile, Chippewa came up short against Waynedale on Wednesday, falling 15-4.

KYLEIGH GARTIN made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Chippewa, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Chippewa's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Northwestern hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .320. It's a different story for Chippewa, though, as they've only averaged .181. Will they be able to contain Northwestern's hitters?

Northwestern beat Chippewa 9-4 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Chipps have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
