Baseball Recap: Hialeah Educational Academy Find Success

With a playoff win on the line, Hialeah Educational Academy rose to the challenge on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Westminster Academy Lions 3-1. For the Biggie, this counts as revenge for the 8-2 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

JOSE AVILES was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

Hialeah Educational Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Westminster Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-12.

Looking ahead, Hialeah Educational Academy will take on Chaminade-Madonna at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Biggie surely won't give up without a fight. Westminster Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
