Basketball Recap: Brennan Extends Winning Streak to Five

Brennan had won four straight games and Kingston Flemings did his part to make it five on Friday. The Brennan Bears blew past the South Grand Prairie Warriors, posting an 83-50 win thanks in part to Flemings, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten assists. His evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Donovan Criss was another key player, going 9 for 12 on his way to 24 points. Those 24 points gave him a new career-high.

Brennan's record now sits at 16-2. As for South Grand Prairie, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-10.

Brennan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 79-53 victory against Ellison on the 28th. As for South Grand Prairie, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-37 win against Argyle on the 28th.
