Chugiak won the last time they faced Bettye Davis East Anchorage and things went their way on Friday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Thunderbirds. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Chugiak walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 27-25, 23-25, 25-14.

Chugiak was led to victory by London Gentile and Avery Warren. Gentile had 11 digs and three aces, while Warren had five digs and one assist. That's the most digs Gentile has posted over her last eight matches. Catheryn Townsend also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Chugiak's victory bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Bettye Davis East Anchorage, they moved to 9-12 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
