Northern Cambria moved up to 233 from 303 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Heritage. The Colts were able to make move up by defeating Cambria Heights 29-20.

Penns Manor extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Keystone, 35-8. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.

Blairsville's dynamic duo of Scott Thompson and Anthony Faulk proved tough for Moshannon Valley to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Thompson threw for 144 yards and two touchdowns and Faulk had 55 yards receiving. Deion Robinson helped Blairsville's passing attack out by catching three balls for 33 yards.

Ryan Torrance was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 161 yards on 27 carries as Ligonier Valley defeated the Black Knights/Damsels. Dereck Croyle also contributed to the rushing game with 84 yards on the ground.

6-foot-2 quarterback Thompson of Blairsville is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1425. He has also thrown 13 touchdowns. On the ground, Penns Manor's Danny Ferens has rushed for 1554 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Adam Polites. The Northern Cambria star has 17 catches for 472 yards.

Albert Dettorre's team and Moshannon Valley played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Albert Dettorre's team eventually emerging with a 27-26 victory. Thompson ran for 131 yards in the win.
