After a string of three wins, the Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 61-37 walloping at the hands of Non Varsity Opponent. Tse' Yi' Gai was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Non Varsity Opponent apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2018.
Despite the loss, Tse' Yi' Gai still got an impressive performance from Brienna Toledo, who scored 14 points. That was a full 37.8% of Tse' Yi' Gai's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Tse' Yi' Gai's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they pushed their record up to 119-220 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Tse' Yi' Gai will take on To'hajiilee at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 41-23 defeat vs. Heartland Christian on the 9th.
