Softball Recap: Franklin County Tech Takes a Loss

The Franklin County Tech Eagles came up short against the South Hadley Tigers on Friday and fell 5-2.

Franklin County Tech saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lindsey Taylor, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Franklin County Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for South Hadley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Franklin County Tech will challenge Frontier Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Hawks' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for South Hadley, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Hopkins Academy at 4:00 p.m.
