After having lost a blowout in their previous game against White Mountains, Woodsville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Groveton Eagles 14-5. Considering the Engineers have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Woodsville is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Groveton, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Woodsville will challenge rival Lin-Wood at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Groveton is set to face off against their familiar foe Lisbon at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
