Basketball Game Preview: Cypress Falls Eagles vs. Cy-Fair Bobcats

Cypress Falls is 2-8 against Cy-Fair since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Cypress Falls Eagles will face off against the Cy-Fair Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Cypress Falls will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Saturday, Cypress Falls strolled past Stratford with points to spare, taking the game 54-35. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Spartans are ranked 485th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Cy-Fair challenged Cypress Creek on Saturday. Cy-Fair walked away with a 50-42 victory over Cypress Creek.

Cy-Fair's record now sits at 7-12. As for Cypress Falls, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-4.

Cypress Falls couldn't quite finish off Cy-Fair in their previous matchup back in December of 2021 and fell 32-30. Can Cypress Falls avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
