Basketball Recap: Bradford Comes Up Short

Bradford lost against Botkins back in February of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bradford Railroaders were beaten by the Botkins Trojans 71-42. While losing is never fun, the Railroaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 623rd, while the Trojans are ranked 129th).

Bradford's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Botkins, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Bradford will head out on the road to face off against Arcanum at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Botkins, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Loramie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
