Tabb posted their closest victory since April 16, 2024 on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Smithfield Packers 2-1. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Packers, too.

Tabb's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Smithfield, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.

Tabb will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on York at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Smithfield, they will square off against Southampton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Packers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
