Soccer Game Preview: Whitewater vs. Forest Park

The Whitewater Wildcats will face off against the Forest Park Panthers at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Whitewater is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last nine games.

Whitewater's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Thursday. They blew past Spalding 10-0. Considering Whitewater have won ten games by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Spalding from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Samira Eldawi led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Forest Park's offense. They came up short against Elite Scholars Academy last Thursday, falling 6-0.

Whitewater pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 61 goals over those seven matchups. As for Forest Park, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
