Baseball Recap: Andrew Jackson Academy Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holly Hill Academy, Andrew Jackson Academy was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Thomas Heyward Academy Rebels by a score of 8-5. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rebels, too.

Channing Terry spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on seven hits.

At the plate, Kaiden Kinard was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Hayden McClung was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

Andrew Jackson Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
