Volleyball Recap: MacDonald Condor vs. Aragon Dons
MacDonald was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aragon Dons.
Tobin Ley paced MacDonald's offense, picking up eight kills. Ley got some help from Dylan Bugarin and his nine assists. Ley was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.
Leading Aragon to victory were Jeremy Lim and Abnik Singh. Lim had 11 assists, while Singh had 13 assists and four digs. That's the most assists Lim has posted over his last seven games.
MacDonald's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Aragon, they moved to 10-13 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.
MacDonald didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Saratoga on the 5th. As for Aragon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Carlmont on the 5th.
