St. Scholastica lost to Mandeville back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Doves blew past the Skippers 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Doves have posted against the Skippers since September 7, 2017.

While St. Scholastica won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-22.

Despite the defeat, Mandeville had strong showings from Kinsley Windom, who had nine digs, and Alyssa Gaudet, who had nine digs and two assists.

St. Scholastica is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season. As for Mandeville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-14.

Looking ahead, St. Scholastica will challenge Christ Episcopal School at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mandeville, they will face off against Covington at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
