Baseball Recap: Juan Diego Catholic Comes Up Short

Juan Diego Catholic lost against Payson back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Juan Diego Catholic fell 6-1 to Payson. The Soaring Eagle have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lange Livonius was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Juan Diego Catholic now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Payson, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Coincidentally, Juan Diego Catholic and Payson will both be playing Pine View the next time they take the field. Juan Diego Catholic will head out to face Pine View at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, while Payson will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
