Soccer Recap: Taylorville Comes Up Short

Taylorville lost against Mt. Zion back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tornadoes came up short against the Braves, falling 9-0. Taylorville have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Taylorville's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Mt. Zion, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Coming up, Taylorville will be playing at home against Argenta-Oreana at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Taylorville will be up against Argenta-Oreana's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.5 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Mt. Zion, they will head out on the road to square off against MacArthur at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
