Volleyball Recap: Copper Hills Grizzlies vs. Farmington Phoenix
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Copper Hills can now relate to. They fell just short of the Farmington Phoenix by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The Grizzlies' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.
Their offense was headlined by Phoebe Jensen and Mahly Jacobberger, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Paige Jensen and her 34 assists.
Leading Farmington to victory were Kylee Day and Beatrice Etter. Day had six digs and two aces, while Etter had nine digs. That's the most digs Etter has posted since back in September.
Copper Hills' loss dropped their record down to 10-20. As for Farmington, with the win, they broke their five-match losing streak and moved their record to 10-20.
