Football Recap: Dishchii'bikoh Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Dishchii'bikoh kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 72-14 loss at the hands of the Duncan Wildkats. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildkats from their previous meeting back in October of 2022.

PABLO RUIZ was his usual excellent self, throwing for 211 yards and four TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushing for 68 yards and a pair of scores on only five carries for Duncan. RUIZ also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making one tackle and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception.

Duncan's win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Dishchii'bikoh does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Duncan, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 50-20 victory against Baboquivari on the 26th.
