Faith Academy had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They came out on top against the Mobile Christian Leopards by a score of 9-5. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Wyatt Lloyd looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Braydon Wright, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Riley Wilemon was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Faith Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.3 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 9.

Faith Academy's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Mobile Christian, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-14.
