Basketball Recap: University School of Nashville Tigers vs. Battle Ground Academy Wildcats
University School of Nashville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were beaten by the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats 53-26. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-41 back in January.
Battle Ground Academy found their leader in sophomore Tayla Stovall, who posted 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and seven steals. With that strong performance, Stovall is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Anne Gentry Lambert, who had 12 points and five boards.
University School of Nashville's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Battle Ground Academy, their record now sits at 10-11.
