Volleyball Recap: Kofa Kings vs. Mountain View Mountain Lions
Kofa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain View Mountain Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Kings of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2018.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10.
Kofa's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Mountain View, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.
Kofa will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Rincon/University at 6:00 p.m. Kofa is facing Rincon/University at the right time seeing as Rincon/University is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Mountain View, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win vs. Window Rock on the 21st.
