Softball Game Preview: Warsaw Tigers vs. Goshen RedHawks

The Warsaw Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Goshen RedHawks at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Warsaw has given up an average of 10 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Warsaw came up short against Columbia City on Tuesday, falling 20-5. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Raegan Robinson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season.

Meanwhile, Goshen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-3 to Northridge.

Abby Snyder was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Goshen's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Warsaw, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Warsaw skirted past Goshen 6-5 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the RedHawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
