Baseball Recap: Red Oak Comes Up Short

Red Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harlan Cyclones. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly three runs.

Red Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Harlan, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Red Oak didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against East Mills on the 1st. As for Harlan, they have also already played their next matchup, an 11-4 win against Shenandoah on the 1st.
