Parkwood is 8-2 against Monroe since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Parkwood Wolf Pack will be playing at home against the Monroe Redhawks at 6:00 p.m. After both made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Wednesday.

Monroe will be up against a hot Parkwood squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Parkwood blew past Anson 60-34 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Monroe entered their tilt with Anson on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Bearcats with a sharp 59-33 win. Given the Redhawks' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while the Bearcats are ranked 494th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Parkwood is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for Monroe, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.

Parkwood came up short against Monroe when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 53-44. Thankfully for Parkwood, Saniya Gingham (who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 16 boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
