Football Recap: Tensas Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Tensas had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Beekman Charter Tigers 86-6 on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

Beekman Charter has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tensas will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Beekman Charter, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Lincoln Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
