Soccer Recap: Shasta Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shasta can now relate to. They lost 8-0 to the Chico Panthers on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for Wolves in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Shasta's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Chico, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Shasta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chico, they will face off against Pleasant Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Pleasant Valley comes in on seven and Chico on three.
