            Softball Recap: McMahon Senators vs. Bunnell Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Shelton, McMahon was happy to have turned things around  on Wednesday. They walked away with  a   5-2  victory over the Bunnell Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Senators, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Caroline Sattler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two  runs (both of which were unearned)  on nine hits and racked up ten Ks.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Alexa Smith, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Isabella Spagnuolo, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
The  win  got McMahon back to even at 1-1. As for Bunnell, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McMahon will square off against Weston at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Bunnell, they will face off against Darien at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
