Softball Recap: Chambers Academy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Chambers Academy waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Success Unlimited Academy MUSTANGS get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won four games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Klancy Phillips made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Phillips was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other pitching news, Madison Stanford looked comfortable as she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Abigail Downey, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jana Sanders, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Chambers Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2025.

Chambers Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chambers Academy will welcome Springwood at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Success Unlimited Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on The Rock Academy at 6:00 p.m. on April 2.
