Basketball Game Preview: Independence Eagles vs. Brentwood Bruins

Independence is 0-10 against Brentwood since January of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Independence Eagles will host the Brentwood Bruins at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Last Friday, everything came up roses for Independence against Summit as the squad secured a 52-24 victory.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brentwood). They breezed by Ravenwood to the tune of 82-53 on Friday. The Bruins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

Independence pushed their record up to 13-10 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points over those games. As for Brentwood, their victory bumped their record up to 19-4.
