Broadwater lost to Loyola-Sacred Heart back in October of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 36-19 victory over the Rams. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Bradan Martin and Marek Easter. Martin rushed for 90 yards and one TD on only 11 carries while Easter rushed for 73 yards and one score.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Broadwater proved: they limited Loyola-Sacred Heart to a paltry 3.2 yards per carry. The Bulldogs didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 5.6.

Loyola-Sacred Heart lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Andrew Richardson, who threw for 160 yards and three touchdowns. Abhi Sandhu was Richardson's top target, picking up 49 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Broadwater's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Loyola-Sacred Heart, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Broadwater will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sweet Grass County at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Loyola-Sacred Heart, they have already played their next match, a 21-7 defeat against Anaconda on the 12th.
