Recap: Riverdale Warriors vs. Siegel Stars
The Riverdale Warriors had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38.3 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Siegel 49-7 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.
Braden Graham continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 281 yards and four touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes. Graham is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last six games he's played. Jaylen Thompson was in the mix as well, providing Riverdale with two touchdowns.
Riverdale's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Siegel, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverdale will challenge Oakland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oakland is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Siegel, they will head out on the road to face off against Rockvale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (Rockvale is ranked 72nd, while Siegel is ranked 77th).
