Chapin is a perfect 10-0 against Mid-Carolina since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will square off against the Rebels at 5:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Chapin put up the most runs they have all season on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-6 margin over River Bluff. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mid-Carolina got themselves on the board against Columbia on Tuesday, but Columbia never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Capitals with a sharp 16-0 victory. That looming 16-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Rebels yet this season.

Chapin is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Mid-Carolina, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-7.
