Volleyball Recap: Hagerty Triumphs

Hagerty's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Crooms Academy Panthers. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The final score came out to 25-19, 20-25, 25-13, 25-9.

Hagerty found their leader in sophomore Jonathan L'Heureux, who had 16 digs and two assists. Those 16 digs set a new season-high mark for L'Heureux. Leonel Sapeg Santana also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

The win got Hagerty back to even at 10-10. As for Crooms Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Hagerty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Lake Mary on the 15th. As for Crooms Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Edgewater on the 14th.
