League recap: Burton's Kunetka delivers best pitching performance from past week

Garrett Kunetka was the best pitcher in the league this week. He won one game and struck out 19 batters.

Connor Bertsch was the hottest hitter in the league this week, racking up a .556 average with five RBIs. Meanwhile, Fayetteville put together a 2-1 week.

Burton boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks. On the season, the Panthers have allowed just 86 hits, while striking out 111 batters. Kunetka leads the Panthers with 70 strikeouts in 50 innings.

The Lions' Brett Rohde led the league with six hits this week. He is first in the league with 23 hits this year, and has a .451 batting average.
