Volleyball Game Preview: Field Kindley Golden Tornado vs. Pittsburg Dragons

Field Kindley is 0-9-1 against Pittsburg since September of 2018 but things could change on Thursday. The Golden Tornado will face off against the Dragons.

On Tuesday, Field Kindley came up short against Fort Scott and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-19.

The home team had won the previous two meetings between Pittsburg and Independence, and Pittsburg kept the tradition alive. The Dragons skirted past the Bulldogs 2-1. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Pittsburg had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 27-25, 25-20.

Field Kindley's loss dropped their record down to 2-17-1. As for Pittsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 19-8.
