Volleyball Recap: Riverdale Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

Riverdale had won three straight road games and Lola Wainwright did her part to make it four on Saturday. The Rams walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eastland Cougars with plenty of help from Wainwright, who had five digs and four aces. She has been hot recently, having posted four or more aces the last three times she's played.

Riverdale's victory bumped their record up to 19-8-1. As for Eastland, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 22-9 record.

Riverdale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Newman Central Catholic on the 18th. As for Eastland, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Durand on the 18th.
