Basketball Recap: Apex Friendship's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Apex Friendship had won three straight games and Jasmine Nivar did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Apex Friendship Patriots took their match with ease, bagging a 73-22 win over the East Chapel Hill Wildcats thanks in part to Nivar, who almost dropped a triple-double on 30 points, nine boards, and nine steals. Nivar is crushing it when it comes to points: she's scored at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Staubus, who posted 11 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Despite the loss, East Chapel Hill still got an impressive performance from Leah Finkelstein, who had 15 points.

Apex Friendship's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for East Chapel Hill, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Apex Friendship wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 52-39 loss against Southeast Raleigh on the 7th. As for East Chapel Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-48 win against Southern Lee on the 4th.
