Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask William Monroe). They never let the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Dragons, who have now won five matches in a row.

William Monroe pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Harrisonburg, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. William Monroe will challenge Broadway at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Gobblers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Harrisonburg, they will head out to square off against Spotswood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trailblazers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Blue Streaks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
