Baseball Recap: Madison East Takes a Loss

Madison East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Baraboo Thunderbirds, falling 13-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunderbirds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Saturday.

Madison East's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Baraboo, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-9 record this season.

Madison East wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against Sun Prairie East on the 29th. Baraboo has also already played their next contest (against Platteville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
