With a playoff win on the line, Hersey rose to the challenge on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Warren Township Blue Devils 1-0. Adam Bugaj had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Hersey.

Hersey has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7-2 record this season. As for Warren Township, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.

Coming up, Hersey is taking a road trip to challenge Glenbrook North at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Glenbrook North's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Warren Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
