Basketball Game Preview: Cleveland Eagles vs. Evergreen Wolverines

The Cleveland Eagles will take on the Evergreen Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Evergreen took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Cleveland, who comes in off a win.

Cleveland took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 55-44 victory over Ingraham.

Meanwhile, Evergreen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. The contest between them and Lindbergh didn't end well, with Evergreen falling 55-39.

Evergreen's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Cleveland, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-17.

Cleveland came out on top in a nail-biter against Evergreen in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, sneaking past 57-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cleveland since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
