Volleyball Recap: Boron Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Boron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Frazier Mountain Falcons. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Boron took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Ashayla Quick and Melissa Gonzalez, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Aaliyah Davis and her eight assists. Gonzalez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Boron's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12-1. As for Frazier Mountain, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Boron is set to challenge their familiar foe Bishop Union at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Frazier Mountain will face off against rival Mammoth at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
