Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Winnacunnet). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Nashua North Titans a 22-0 shutout on Thursday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Winnacunnet's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Nashua North, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Winnacunnet will square off against rival Pinkerton at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 3.1, the Astros 1.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Nashua North is set to challenge their familiar foe Windham at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
