Mission Valley lost against Chase County back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-18.

Abby Packard paced Mission Valley's offense, picking up five kills. Packard got some help from Taylor Brammell and her five assists.

Mission Valley's defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9. As for Chase County, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-1.

Mission Valley has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Blue Valley on the 20th. As for Chase County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Marais des Cygnes Valley on the 20th.
