Basketball Recap: Las Vegas' Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

Las Vegas needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Tayshaun Jackson. The Las Vegas Wildcats secured a 58-52 W over the George Washington Prep Generals on Wednesday thanks in part to Jackson, who almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in January.

Las Vegas' win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for George Washington Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

When Las Vegas and George Washington Prep next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Las Vegas will try to stop Alta's four-game winning streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, George Washington Prep will try to stop Foothill's three-game winning streak when the meet at 9:30 a.m. on December 26th.
