Hidalgo waltzed into their contest on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 52-47 W against the Jubilee Brownsville Titans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 75-73 back in January.

Despite the loss, Jubilee Brownsville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Nick Zarate dropped a double-double with 20 points and 20 boards. That was a full 42.6% of Jubilee Brownsville's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Deron Holland, who put up 16 points.

Hidalgo's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points over those games. As for Jubilee Brownsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 15-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Hidalgo nor Jubilee Brownsville have any future games scheduled.
