Basketball Game Preview: Linn Wildcats vs. Fayette Falcons

The Linn Wildcats will square off against the Fayette Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Linn is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Linn's tournament run continued when they took on Hallsville on Tuesday. Linn had to suffer through a 79-31 loss at the hands of Hallsville. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 528th, while the Indians are ranked 64th).

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Fayette took on Marshall on Thursday. Fayette fell 66-57 to Marshall. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fayette's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Linn, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-14.

Linn came up short against Fayette in their previous matchup on Friday, falling 50-46. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Fayette's Kaleb Friebe, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten boards.
